Situated along Hardanger Fjord, this waterfront hotel offers views of Folgefonna Glacier, indoor and outdoor pools, along with a private beach area. Wi-Fi access and private parking are both free. The location is perfect. Spa is an extra benefit. We had dinner at the restaurant. Viktoriia provided an excellent service. Big thanks to the chef for a fantastic presentation and delicious food.

Brakanes Hotel terletak di tepi Hardanger Fjord di Ulvik. Restoran hotel menawarkan menu prasmanan dan a la carte hidangan lokal. Wi-Fi gratis juga tersedia. Very Silent and Peaceful location. I just could not get enough of the view. It had an apple tree outside our Balcony. Dinner was Super expensive, I will not say no, but the chef is top. Always ask for a Table Fan which will be given to you on request, as u will need 1 for slight air circulation in the room….coz u will need to shut the windows coz of the outside noise and mosquitoes sometimes.…or else u might feel stuffy or sweaty in the middle of the night…..this is a tip to be used in the whole of Norway.

Staff were very helpful. They fixed the loud, squeaky bathroom door handle within a few hours of us reporting it. They loaned us an iron and ironing board. The location was excellent. It was quiet but fairly close to the main tourist area. There were good views in almost every direction. There was free parking and good WiFi. There were lots of shelves (though not in the bathroom). The shower was excellent (good pressure, steady temperature, good enclosure). The bed was softer-than-average, which I liked. The pillow was good (not too thick). The breakfast was good except for the juice which was watery. The on-site restaurant is very good and is open for dinner until 9 p.m., but it has only a small menu. (It is closed on Tuesday evenings.) There are other restaurants nearby, as well as a food truck that sells Thai food. The lounge area is roomy. There are no TV's which I liked (i.e. no loud TV sounds coming from other rooms). Though we heard some noise from the hallway, we never heard sounds from the two adjoining rooms. One can't accidentally lock oneself out of one's room because you have to use your key to lock the door.

We used our drone from a higher point, 15 min walk from the cottage to film the kids and the view was absolutely amazing! The fjord was stunning! We found food at the local supermarket only a few minutes away by foot. The service station makes nice coffee which I grabbed early morning and off i went for a walk, full snow and freezing temp but it was a delight!

Centrally situated in Rosendal by the Hardanger Fjord, this waterfront hotel offers a restaurant, bar and terrace with panoramic views. The outstanding view and extra friendly helpful staff. Wonderful, elegant dinner in beautiful position and very reasonably priced.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. I have been on the norway in a nutshell type tour, and this was a planned stop. I'm so glad to have been to this little village and great accommodation. Had an amazing hot breakfast . I would definitely recommend staying here . If you're coming off of a Fjord tour, this is any easy little walk.

With an idyllic location by the Hardangerfjord, this elegant hotel features traditional décor, a waterfront garden and free Wi-Fi. The impressive Steinsdalsfossen Waterfall is a 5-minute drive away. It's a wonderful hotel! The location is breathtaking, the service is excellent! I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of breakfast.

Terletak di sebuah bangunan bergaya Art Noveau akhir abad ke-19 yang menghadap ke Lembah Måbø, Fossli Hotel menawarkan Wi-Fi gratis dan kamar-kamar dengan kamar mandi pribadi. Stay at the Fossli felt like being "inside a novel". Needless to say, the view is fantastic (and you get the Voringsfossen waterfalls all for yourself in the evening, after the tourist buses stop flowing by), the staff is super kind, and the dinner was a very good surprise too! Maybe we were lucky but our room was also pretty large and very comfy.
