Such a refreshing difference from Seoul. Train stations had staffs in blue vest to guide tourists, speak some English.
Visitor info counter at Busan station was helpful when I arrived.
Might want to check out daily travel pass, apparently only on app. I spent KRW6K & KRW8K+ per day during my 2 days there. Was misinformed at info booth on my first morning there better to use my T money card😒
Gamcheon village & the 2 layered bridge was worth the travel.

Busan was definitely more laid back than Seoul.
Busan was definitely more laid back than Seoul. We loved the beaches, especially Haeundae and the Gamcheon Culture Village. We also enjoyed the Songdo gondola ride, going up the tower at Yondusan Park, the Trick Eye Museum, the Yonggungssa Temple (by the sea and a bit crowded), and the free drone show (amazing) and lit up bridge, at Gwangalli Beach.
We took a day trip from Busan to nearby Gyeongju and its World Heritage sites. It was great.
We found bus was the cheapest and easiest way to get around Busan. We took a taxi a few times and found the drivers were sweethearts, as were the staff at the Haeundae Beach Tourist Information Centre. In fact, everyone was very friendly in Busan .
We would have liked to do the Sky Capsule Ride but it was booked out.
Unbeknown to us, we had arrived at Busan at a time when it was a long holiday weekend for Koreans and so should have prebooked the Sky Capsule, like we did with some of our other activities.

Busan is a beautiful city.
Busan is a beautiful city. It is particularly good for culture and seafood. We really enjoyed Gamcheon Village where you can enjoy the scenery, take great photos and buy gifts for loved ones. Be aware of Drivers in Busan. Busan is known all over Korea for its crazy drivers especially taxi drivers. We were warned by locals that if you get in a taxi don’t hold on as this is a signal to the driver to drive as fast as they can. I found there wasn’t as much to do in Busan as I Expected but it was still a very fun place to visit.

Busan is a beautiful, quiet and clean city which is easy to navigate and a pleasure to explore. Highly recommend a 5 day stay. Book different hotels in different parts of the city to explore different areas. Haeundae Beach is amazing and the Jagalchi Markets are awesome. Go to SpaLand in Centum City shopping centre too. Definitely go visit.

I honestly loved Busan more than Seoul!
I honestly loved Busan more than Seoul! it is like Seoul but in a smaller foot print which means you can experience vibey places, natural places, or cool places all within close proximity to one another.
The beaches is really what makes Busan IMO as it attracts and creates a VIBE which makes you smile. And the beaches Haeundae and Gwangali are so clean and fresh!
The tourist attractions are great! and unique enough that it doesn't feel same same as Seoul. Mind you there is a lot heights so make sure you aren't afraid of heights.

We preferred Seoul to Busan.
We preferred Seoul to Busan.
Busan is more of a party city, and a city for tourists who like to stay on the beaten track, people who like to shop and see fast cars.
We missed some culture, museums, ....
I booked a 3 night/4 day stay in Busan and there was so much to do and every amenity taken care of here I NEVER left the hotel! I loved all of the amazing facilities, an in-house convenience store, Starbucks, multiple restaurants, art galleries, pools, full gym, bar/lounge, sauna. Honestly it was the best mini vacation I have ever been on. The staff were so kind and accommodating to my English. It was a great experience as a solo traveler and I will only be staying here when I visit Busan from now on.
5 stars ✨ This is my second time staying at the Signiel Busan and I can easily say this is my preferred accommodation. Amazing views of Haeundae Beach. Close proximity to stores & restaurants.
The staff is unparalleled. I left my wallet along with all my credit cards and debit cards in LA. The staff assisted me with paying via Apple Pay and also allowed me to do a cash advance using Apple Pay to allow me to have money while in Korea.
I highly recommend the Signiel Busan while in Busan.
The staff and facilities were great. The beds, pillows and blanket/duvet covers were all very comfortable. The large shower head was a great bonus. The hotel is a short walk away from Haeundae beach, the traditional markets and Gunam-ro where you can find amazing options for food and bars. The metro station is a 10-15 minute walk away. The water taps and air gun found outside of the entrance to blast the sand out of our shoes after visiting the beach was great to have.
The location is amazing. Fantastic views from the rooftop! A short walk to Haeundae Beach, where there are tons of restaurants, cafes, and shops. It is next door to Blueline Park where you can take a ride in the Sky Capsules. I chose to walk up to Dalmaji Park to get a view of the colorful trams with the beautiful Busan skyline in the background. Overall, it is a great area for those wanting a low-key beach weekend in Busan.
Such a great hotel! Amazing location. The rooms were nice and comfortable, the shower pressure was great, and the room was clean. The bed was also comfortable. The hotel also supplied a little bag of toiletries (which is rare in Korea), and also full sized towels (some hotels provide very small towels). For the price, it was really great. I thought it was one of the best hotels I stayed in during my 2 weeks in South Korea.
The hotel is accessible by a 20 minutes walk from the nearest metro station or one hour from Busan Central station. Views from the room located at the upper floor were so pleasant in particular through the nightly and morning fog. The room was very clean and furnishing was very comfortable. Location of the hotel allows to easily visit the Gwangalli beach as well as other Haeundae beach eastward.
Paradise hotel is the only hotel I stay whenever I go Busan in the last 8 years.
Location is awesome near the beach by walking and lots resturants and shops nearby and famous local market and subway station near by
The Cimer is the best place to relax in the hot jacuzzi over looking the ocean and the pool is very big and nice.
Rooms are spacious and clean and room service is number one
The hotel lobby is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. The hotel is near the Metro making it easy to get around Busan. The area around the hotel is also interesting with easy access to the Seomyeon Market Area and a large Lotte Department Store. There were many great restaurants in the area for lunch and dinner.
- Location, Busan Station 5 minutes by Taxi, Haeundae Beach around 45 minutes by bus
- Small convenience store next to the hotel
- Lotte Mall 15 minutes by walking
- Many small shops and eating places around the hotel
- awesome for the cheap price
- water heater
Good location for cheap price. It was a stone throw from Haeundae beach, close to haridangil and main street, blue line park, also ssg department store and Gwangali beach, centum area are 5-6000krw by taxi from the hotel. They have CVS right in front of the gate.
MAMA Guesthouse was in great location, next to Haeundae beach and the market and many places to eat and drink. It was cozy and very clean. The owner welcomed us and helped us with everything we asked! It’s a great place to stay while you’re in Busan!
Good location and close to Haeundae beach. Inexpensive.
Cannot be called a hotel. It is like a few units within a building run by various different companies.
You will see guests of all different residences within the same building.
Everything was great, the room was really nice and clean. The location was also awesome, it's super close to Haeundae beach and other places. There is also a movie theater attached to the hotel. I also really liked the breakfast.
I liked the location of the hotel. It was next to Shinsegae Mall, alot of local food spots, and a quick cab ride to Haeundae Beach or trolley ride to the International Market area. The staff was very attentive and friendly.
The room was a decent size, and had a beautiful view of Haeundae beach! It was just minutes away from the hotel.
Lots of restaurants and shops around the area also
Location was good n right infront of HAEUNDAE Beach. Lots of food joints, cafes , convenience stores, hotels in this area. Reasonable priced food n delicious.!
