This apartment was in an excellent location. A fifteen minute walk from the ferry. We had a key safe for our entry, which was easy to use. The downstairs of the apartment was as advertised. Spacious and clean.

The staircase does not have a landing. For the double room you step straight into the room. On the twin room, it’s not straightforward as you don’t have a proper step in. The bathroom is downstairs off the kitchen. As I need to use the bathroom during the night this was incredibly dangerous. I ended up sleeping on the sofa. If you have any disability this will not be the place for you. I could add photos to explain better but can’t see a place to add them in this survey.

Having the pool is a great bonus, the rooms are a good size and the breakfast was good quality, if a bit pricey.

The staff member who checked us in was struggling and seemed to make up answers to questions when she didn't know the answer, there was a lot of up-selling with unclear pricing, too much email spam. Overall felt more like a decent three-star hotel than four-star: limited toiletries that weren't re-stocked, cheap furnishings, no bar on site and extremely basic room service (which makes it particularly odd to reserve £200 on your credit card at check in...), one small bottle of water for our entire stay.

Asked for a ground floor room and was allocated room 5 which turned out to be a disabled persons room. I DID NOT ask for a disabled persons room. The room was very basic and dirty. There was EXCREMENT on the lavatory flush buttons and the shower soap dispenser did not work. No other toiletries provided. I pointed these faults out (personally) to a member of the cleaning staff but these points were NOT resolved during our stay. There was an electric socket on the bed head which was dangerously close to a sleeping persons head and constituted a danger whilst a CPAP machine was plugged in. Only one small pillow was provided. Only one chair was provided. Hanging and storage space was minimal and inefficient. The lighting was non adjustable and did not provide an ambient atmosphere. Much too bright. The staff, both reception and cleaning were curt and ungracious. On departure I told the receptionist of the excrement on the toilet flush that was NOT CLEANED and it was virtually ignored! Photographs of the toilet flush, broken soap dispenser and plug position attached. This was a very disappointing venue and not up to the standard we expect from the Premier Hotel chain. We will NOT be using Premier Classe again and do not recommend them.
